Building Systems Around Real Workplace Safety Problems
Each project below tackles a real workplace safety problem, whether that's how hazards get reported, how inspections get tracked, or how risk gets assessed, and explores how that process can be organised into a working digital system.
Safety Management System
Most workplace safety information (hazard reports, inspection results, corrective actions) still lives across paper forms, spreadsheets and someone's memory, with no way to trace a hazard through to its fix. This project is being developed to bring hazard reporting, inspections, risk records and corrective actions into one structured digital system, with visibility into safety status over time.

Digital Inspection & Audit System
A paper inspection form answers the question in the moment, then usually goes quiet. Findings get transcribed later, if at all, and nobody can see which issues keep recurring across sites. What started as a standardised fire safety and compliance audit toolkit is being extended into a full digital inspection system, designed so every failed item turns into a tracked corrective action instead of a note that has to be followed up manually.

Hazard & Corrective Action Tracker
Most incidents are preceded by observations or near-misses that were noticed but never formally tracked to a fix, often because nothing kept the item visibly open until someone closed it. This simple web tool lets field teams log hazards and safety observations digitally, replacing a paper-based reporting process, built as a working tool that prioritises each item by risk and is being extended to keep it visible until verified closed.

Workplace Risk Assessment Framework
A risk assessment that only exists to satisfy an audit creates a false sense of security. The document says one thing and the workplace says another, and that gap is where incidents happen. This structured hazard identification and risk assessment framework was built and is practiced for a small operations team. The framework itself is real and in use, while a digital version, moving it from documents into a tracked system, is currently planned.

Safetec Solutions: EHS Digital Communication & Online Presence
Safety expertise doesn't speak for itself online. Without consistent digital communication, an organisation's real safety work stays invisible to the clients, partners and talent who would otherwise recognise it. This is ongoing digital communication and social media management for Safetec Solutions Ltd, an occupational safety and health organisation, connecting OSH expertise with a clear, consistent digital presence across social platforms, website content and Google Business Profile.
